PURPOSE: To gain return for our investors, entry to film festivals with the goals of industry notice and acquisition, and continued work for us within the entertainment industry.
PROPOSED SCHEDULE: We will begin filming in late June 2006. Filming will take place primarily on weekends, and some evenings as required. Proposed completion of filming will be no later than December 2006, with editing completed by June 2007.
PROPOSED INVESTMENT GOAL: $5,000-$10,000. We plan to acquire funding for this film from outside sources. Funding is needed to cover the expenses of licenses and location fees, food for cast and crew, any necessary overnight accommodations, fees for props, costumes and equipment rental as needed (we already have most of the primary equipment such as cameras, mics, and editing equipment) and payment to the cast and crew (if union). Finally, this amount also incorporates necessary fees for completing press kits and entry fees required for entrance into film competitions.
YOUR RETURN:
Investors/backers contributing amounts from $500-$1,000 will receive credit as an associate producer, as well as a 1% return on any profits after expenses and initial investments are repaid. Your investment may also entitle you to invitations to special screenings at any film festivals we are admitted to, and attendance at corresponding events.
